The Mahua Vann Resort is spread in area of thick forest and shrubs with a seasonal river on one side and a smaller one on the other side of the property. Both this converge at the sangam point, which has a large sandy patch and many boulders strewn across. The resort is configured as a tribal village and the cottage lay out gives a feel of privacy to each cottage with a view of either of the two water bodies. The walk along the sandy bank of the bigger river is more than one kilometer long. The resorts lay-out and design is in an eco friendly and vernacular style with the use of local building materials and practices. Emphasis on a sense of space as a perfect setting to savor nature for peace, tranquility and reflection is done by design. |
